We are building a new legacy of jeans made in the USA that appeal to everyone from the kid with scuffed up sneakers riding a skateboard, to the guy trading stocks and bonds on Wall Street. We are a Raw Denim specialist, offering a wide range of sizes from 28 to 48 and tall jeans with 38 and 40 inch inseams. Browsing our Big & Tall Collection is clear to see why our customers think we offer the best big men’s jeans in the market.
Inspired by President Barack Obama's call to bring more business back to the USA, in the Spring of 2013 we launched the Hope Street jeans, Williamsburg’s first made in the USA jeans. The product was so successful with a retail price only slightly higher than the imported jeans we offered and far more affordable than most other competing American made jeans brands, we decided to move all production back to the USA shortly thereafter. Since 2014, we have grown to be recognized as a high quality producer of American made jeans at attractive prices.
WGC was created by veteran fashion designer and brand owner Maurice Malone in 2011 with an invest of about six thousand dollars, after deciding to take his own advice (start small and grow), that he would often give to young inspiring designers seeking advice in starting a fashion brand. Maurice Malone is regarded as one of the world’s top denim designers and has been called “the Steve Jobs of Denim,” by Brooklyn Magazine, also, featured as a creative thought leader for Fast Company's “The Rise, Fall, And Rise Of The Steve Jobs Of Denim" and Bloomberg BusinessWeek’s "21 People Besides Kanye Who Are Just Like Steve Jobs." Maurice is also the inventor of the world’s best used wash processes for creating authentic looking aged jeans which are used in denim wash factories throughout the world today. In the early 1990’s he was one of the founding fathers of Urban/Hip Hop fashion.
